estival takes place usually rainy season. Fortunately, It is held the 6th, 7th, and 8th of Aug. in Sendai. The Jozenji street jazz festival held in Sep. is also exciting. A lot of kind of music were played on the allover street in downtown during the days.

There used to be events held in the Koutoudai Park on most weekend. Sometimes they played Japanese traditional dance, played street music, played street performance, showed something exhibition, and sold something on temporary shops.
