The ephemeral joys

I truly appreciate your time and kindness to take a look at my words here.

The theme of the “Jyoshikai 6” is the “Firefly”.

I have tried to cut out some scenes from the nature regarding to the life of fireflies.

1.　Twilight

It shows an interesting moment of the day. The time is short, just before dark, many things happened and then….

2.　14 days for life

Fireflies have four stages in their life cycle: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. A whole stage takes for one year. But the adult fireflies live only for about fourteen days. They stay underground for most of their life. Amazing.

3.　The ephemeral joys

This means a kind of unique happiness. Fireflies have only one purpose to live which is to find a partner. Because of that, they glow so beautifully in such a short period of time. It makes fleeting and impressive stories.
