ＷＥＢ絵本『稲妻大蔵』

Once upon a time in Isahaya area of Hizen province, there lived a wresler of Japanese-style wresling.
He was called "Bigman the Lightning".
むかし肥前の諫早の稲妻大蔵という相撲取りは・・・

His mother prayed to the god of Mt. Hattendake for pregnancy.
And he was born.
・・・母が八天岳の山の神に祈って生まれた子でありました．

He was a gift child from the Divine Thunder Incarnation.
So, he never lost his game against any competitor.
天狗様の申し子であったので、如何なる敵に会うても勝たぬということはなく・・・

And at last, he became the champion wrestler in Japan.
とうとう日本一の大力士となりました．

Before an impotant game in a certain year, his competitor asked him for a fixed game.
ところが或年の晴れの勝負の前に、相手になる力士が色々と頼みますので・・・

He felt pity for the competitor.
And he pityingly gave a win to the competitor.
あまり気の毒だと思って、つい憐みの心を起こし、たった一度だけ勝ちを譲ってやりました．

Soon, the Divine Thunder Incarnation took off from Bigman the lightning.
そうしたら忽ち天狗が稲妻の身を離れて・・・

Then, he suddenly got turned a weak wresler.
That's all, thank you.

それからは急に弱い力士になってしまったという話であります．
